The Event

Trek Over the Top is a fun, 200 mile snowmobile run to and from Tok, Alaska to Dawson City, Yukon organized by Tok Chamber of Commerce (TCC) Klondike Visitors Association (KVA). Riding occurs on a groomed Taylor and Top of the World Highways (barring mechanical difficulties and weather permitting). Participants are treated to an amazing ride, great people and a good time! Three days are spent in Dawson City, where gold rush history and legendary nightlife (Including Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall) are available for your enjoyment.

3 Nights Accommodation in Dawson City
Gasoline Fill-up (80 miles from Tok in Chicken, AK; each way – DOES NOT include 2-cycle oil or filling empty gas cans)
6 Meals (2 Dinners in Dawson, 2 Lunch Vouchers in Dawson & 2 Meal Vouchers in Tok)
Entertainment at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall
Entry in Poker Run and chance to win cash and numerous door prizes.
We ensure that your paperwork gets to US and Canadian Customs PASSPORT IS REQUIRED! (must be shown at the time of check in)
*You will be responsible for the purchase of food and gas outside of what is mentioned while in Tok and Dawson City.

Pricing, Transfers & Refunds

Registration costs $599 US per person. (Rates based on double occupancy and are in U.S. Funds)
Payments must be received prior to confirming your registration in this event.
Transfers and refunds must be approved by Tok Chamber of Commerce. A $100 fee applies on all transfers or refunds. Changes made to registration after February 1, 2018 will be charged a $100 change fee or can pay forward for the 2019 ride with no penalty.  There will be no refunds on cancellations made within the last 72 hours prior to the event.

All entrants on each registration will be assigned to the same room. Riders who request individual accommodation will need to pay $125 to cover room costs.

Rules and Regulations

Safety equipment is the responsibility of each rider. Tow sleds are not permitted. One rider per machine for safety purposes. No firearms, drugs or alcohol. HELMETS ARE MANDATORY IN CANADA. It’s the law: AS 28.35.030. Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of An Alcoholic Beverage, Inhalant, or Controlled Substance is illegal.  All snowmobiles must be registered.
Be aware that the temperature can drop severely so you should be prepared by having sufficient clothing.

Terms and conditions

Each applicant MUST sign the entry form verifying that they have read and understand all rules as stated on this form. Please be advised that you are traveling at your own risk. KVA and TCC will not be liable for any accidents, injury or death that may occur due to your participation in this event. Should you have a disability that will impede your travel, you must inform us of your condition and in cases you may need to bring a partner. We reserve the right to impose any other conditions deemed appropriate.

Please be sure all information is accurate. This information is used for Customs and Immigrations background checks. If you have any criminal convictions on your record or have any any questions about possible problems with your entry into Canada, please contact Customs at 1-867-667-3943. The Tok Chamber of Commerce and Klondike Visitors Association are not responsible and have no control over decision made by US or Canadian Customs. Any application that is denied because of a prior criminal record will forfeit $50.
